This is the FOURTH event of Season 3 of the Atlanta
40k Series!
We will start registration at 8:30AM. First game will begin at 9:00AM. 2.5 hour rounds. 30 minute lunch break between Rounds 1 and 2. Points value for this round will be 2000!
All the 6th Edition Rules:
* 2
FOC? If that's what you need.
* Allies? Sure.
* Fortifications? How else do you plan to shoot down flyers?
* Warlord traits? Yep.
* Alternating terrain placement? You betcha.
* Mysterious Terrain? Water and forests, yes. Don't you love razorwings?!?
Plus, the "
40k" Forge World models, characters, and variant army lists are legal. This includes the "Horus Heresy" Legion lists.
All non-Apocalypse Dataslates Formations, and Codex Supplements are legal so long as they are released at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event!
All Codexes are legal so long as they are released at least 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the event. This includes Imperial Knights.
ESCALATION will NOT be used.
STRONGHOLD ASSAULT will be in effect, with the following limitations and changes:
* No Massive Fortifications.
* All of the Updated Building Rules will be in effect (including the updated damage table).
* All of the building upgrades will be permitted, but they must be clearly stated on your army list and must be disclosed to your opponent when you deploy the building.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST BRING A CURRENT COPY OF THE RULES AND ANY
FAQs/CHANGES FOR ANY FORGEWORLD MODELS OR IMPERIAL ARMOR UNITS/CHARACTERS/
ETC. THAT YOU ARE USING IN YOUR LIST.[/b] If you cannot show your opponent the rules for your character as they appear in a
FW/
IA book, with updates, that model will be removed from your list without any substitution!

TO THE JUDGES -- IN ARMY BUILDER FORMAT --
AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. E-mail them to:

40k Codex and
IA/Forge World models. If your main army list is in a regular
GW Codex, there is no need to pre-submit your list, even if you have one or more Forgeworld units or models!
IMPORTANT: See the post immediately below this – and check it regularly before the tournament – for updates/clarifications to rules that will be in effect for this event!
3 rounds. 32 player maximum (‘cause that’s all of the available room!).
Entry fee $20. Each player will receive a “swag” item.
You must pre-pay to reserve your spot for the tournament. Merely posting on the forum does not get you onto the final list!

Here is the quick summary of how the prize winners are determined:
BEST GENERAL will be the player with the strongest “win path.” Usually, this will be a player who has won all three games. Ties will be broken by total battle points.
SECOND GENERAL will be the player with the second strongest “win path”. Ties will be broken by win path and total battle points.
BEST OVERALL is the total of Battle Points (up to 30 per round) + Mandatory Paint (up to 10 points) + Best Painted Votes (Maximum 5) + Sportsmanship (up to 15).
FAVORITE OPPONENT is determined by the player selected by their opponents as their best game of the day.
BEST PAINTED is the highest total of mandatory painting score and player votes.
MANDATORY PAINT is an objective check-box scale:
* 50%+ of the army is painted with 3 or more colors = 1 Point
* 100% of the army is painted with 3 or more colors = 2 Points
* 50%+ of the army is based = 1 Point
* 100% of the army is based = 2 Points
* Army is 100% painted and 100% based = 2 Points
* Army has a coherent theme (if allies are used, they must either be in-theme with the main army or completely in-theme in-and-of themselves) = 2 Points.
