How exactly does the reign of chaos table for daemons work in Storm of Magic? Taking the total of the 4D6 for winds of magic seems obviously incorrect, as the majority of the time the player will be spawning new daemons. Do you take the two highest of the 4D6? Role two dice specifically for Reign of Chaos only (i.e. the first two winds of magic dice to determine Reign of Chaos roll, then just add another 2D6 onto it)? Pick the two of the 4D6 that you want? We looked in the book but couldn't find a solution. What says the internets?

It's spelled out quite clearly in the Reign of Chaos rules.

You always add the two highest dice rolls. There is a parenthetical notation that in most games you only roll two dice, so use those. To me, this indicates that they're aware of situations in which you might roll more than two dice, and yet they still instruct you to use the two highest rolls.
