Need some opinions on this. The Stronghold Assault book says you can take this defence network containing different fortifications from the Wall of Martyrs set
and counts as one fortifications slot. It says I can take "0-2 Vengeance Weapon Battery". Now what I'm wondering is on the Weapon Battery page, the composition
says 1 Battery and if another one is purchased as an upgrade it is deployed as a separate fortification. Does this count as 2 fortifications and take 2 slots in my
organization chart? Which leads back to the Defence Network. Can I take 2 batteries that count for one slot and take a maximum of 4?

The Wall of Matryrs Imperial Defence Network can include 0-2 Vengenance Weapon Batteries. Each battery consists of 1-2 weapons. Thus you can buy the first battery (one gun base) and then select upgrades (second gun, better weapons, etc). That fills one of your slots in the Defence Network. You can then buy a second battery in the same manner. So the Defence Network can have four total guns.
