So I haven't really played since 6th edition. Recently got back into it with Ogres and having fun (finally won my first game, which can take a while). But fell in love with the pretty High Elfs from Island of Blood and how they work 100% differently from Ogres, so I have been Ebay and Bartertown collecting an army and am ready to start fielding it. This is what i kinda want to play. SeaHelm themed, but probably not using Lothern Helms, because they are expensive points wise. I'll also let you know if i own the model or not

Bolt Thrower OWNED

19 Sisters of Avelorn champion (proxyable)

The idea is a lot of shooting that is superior along with 2 solid blocks of infantry. This tactic seems to be about what people in my area are bringing in general. 2 solid blocks of infantry with smaller specialist units and warmachines. Looking forward to hearing commentary.

As a note i am not currently interested in Phoenix Guard or White Lions because I simply cannot afford them, at ~$4 US a model new, 30-40 of them are currently not economically feasible. Thanks

Split up the sisters, there's no reason to have one big unit. One unit means you can't split fire, you get fewer drops and it's easier to get into combat with all of them at once. Also if you're going shooting heavy you're going to want more road blocks so split those sword masters up into 3 units of 9 going 7 wide to maximizing attacks.
