Subject: How to paint a brass machine gun like this?
I'm hoping someone can help me out how to paint guns like this one. With that I mean how to paint the middle part (the brownish / brass). What colours were probably used to achieve this? Thanks in advance for helping me out!

I've done dirty brass armor on skaven that looks similar to that. What I did was mix VERY watered down black paint with a brown wash, and then slopped that over a brass basecoat. Then just highlight with brass or a brass/mithril mix.
