I'm trying to build the best 1850 list I can around the Subterranean Swarm formation. I have 10 Raveners, so I figured I would include all of them. This is what I came up with, but it doesn't feel "Right" to me, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

HQ:
Tyrant (Wings, 2 TL Devourers)
Tyrant (Wings, 2 TL Devourers)

Elite:

Troops:

11 HGaunts - These are my troops that are charging across the board to claim one of my opponent's objectives
10 TGaunts (spinefist)
10 TGaunts (spinefist)
3 Warriors (2 Devourers, 1 BS) - Backfield synapse.

Fast Attack:
3 Shrikes (3 STs, 1 BS, 2 RCs, 3 Flesh Hooks, Adrenal glands) - I feared that Trygon Prime and both Tyrants aren't likely to survive, so these are frontcourt synapse. I am running them up the board with the HGaunts. I expect that they will be much lower on the target priority list than my MCs.

Subterranean Swarm:
3 Raveners (3 RCs, 3 STs, 3 Spinefists)
4 Raveners (4 RCs, 4 STs, 4 Deathspitters)
4 Raveners (4 RCs, 4 STs, 4 Spinefists)
Mawloc
Trygon
Trygon Prime (Maw-Claws)

I chose spinefists for the Raveners, because
1) I have pretty good control over where I place them (Trygon Prime doesn't mishap, 6" from Trygon Prime) so getting within 12" seems viable.
2) Spinefist are better against T3 and T6 than devourers, and the Same at T4. And those are the most common Toughness values I see.
3) Spinefist aren't as good as deathspitter, but they are 7 points less (a piece), and better in overwatch.
I would hear arguments why other wargear would be better.

Also, I would be willing to run the minimum 9 Raveners if there is a compelling place to spend 70 points.

Lastly, I tried to put a Crone in this list, but it just didn't really fit at 1850.

Edit: I dropped 8 HGaunts to give one squad of Raveners Deathspitter which will keep me from having to clump up so much in the case of a bad scatter, and might help me pop a 2nd vehicle. Also gave the Shrikes Adrenal Glands for more consistent runs / charges

Are the raveners able to control objectives in that formation? Because if not, this list is really weak on troops. Experienced opponents will focus on shooting out your synapse (the strikes are just begging to be ID) and your troops. Your formation and flyrants can do w/e they want because you won't be able to take objectives, which at least in my meta are vital in every game.
I would drop the raveners that you can and the strikes. I would use these points to buff all your troop squads and add a brood of zoanthropes. In my experience, tyranids win through bodies on the table.

You really have to have a comms relay in a list like this. If you roll bad on the formation then the sparse units you have on the board get shot to bits. You need that second chance to get the army in T2. Take a bastion and comms relay so you can hide the flyrants behind it if the enemy gets to go first.
