I have that exact same kit and am also in the process of painting it. Man it's tedious. lol
Good job so far, can't wait to see it nice and polished.

I had been debating getting that same kit for another project, and using it as a Knight substitute. Nice to see someone working with it (though I see you added the Canopus gun)

My NEXT one is going to be the 03-Aaliyah (I already have the kit, not constructed yet).
It's a shame that you can't get the Motorcobra gun without buying an entire separate (and I think limited edition) kit though.

I'm just disappointed that they don't have the original BFF NEXT. Sure, they have the 063AN, and it's a nice NEXT (a lot of parts from that set went into my main AC in fa), but I always loved the 047AN in both AC4 and ACfa.

I got it in Japan (I paid more than I could have too, if I waited and went to a shop down the road), but you can also get them from Amazon.
I think it's odd, as the 47AN was the only first (AC4) generation 'starter' AC that didn't' get a kit?

I believe that to be the case, which is a real shame. It was one of my favourite frames in both games.
It's funny, because the 047AN also gets shafted in the fluff. After GA acquires the BFF in for answer, they decommission the 047AN schematic for not using GA approved parts (Rosenthal provided the boosters and generator).

Armored Core has fluff? I never paid any attention to it. I have a Tellus as well and I think it's probably one of my favorite ones. It's just so beefy and badass looking. You did a great job on the paint, though it kind of reminds me of the 7-11 Gundams.

The funny thing about Armored Core is that throughout the series, the fluff is actually really deep. The problem is that From does a horrible job of actually conveying it in game, and most of the stuff ends up being in source books and other outside materials (it also probably doesn't help that the English manuals tend to be cut back pretty hard. ACV's Japanese manual was 200 pages long. Namco Bandai released the domestic version with a single page pamphlet).
From handles the fluff in Armored Core very similarly to how it handles it in the Souls games. The only problem is that they don't do nearly as good a job of actually putting it in the games for AC. It also doesn't help that the world of any given AC timeline tends to be a lot more convoluted than that of the universes of Demon's or Dark Souls, with a bunch of faceless (and with some of them being run by nearly omniscient AIs, this can be taken literally) corporations stabbing each other in the back.

It's probably not economical for them, but I would have loved to have uncoloured parts that you can buy and construct your own AC, like in the games.
I'll be building the Aaliyah next, but need to think of a colour scheme and possibly get another weapon pack rather than stick with the semi-Berloiz loadout it comes with by default.
