I understand that the Imperial Armor books contain the rules for the FW models but there appear to be several volumes. How do I know which one is the correct one for the model and if it is current?

It's pretty common that threads will say something like "What Imperial Armour has the rules for X in it?" pop up here. Some of the Imperial Armour books on Forgeworld have a table of contents in the pictures, but I'm not sure if all do. I'd check those or, failing that, opening up a thread here asking where one unit or the other lives. If it's an aircraft, chances are its in Imperial Armour: Aeronautica, or if it's a titan then chances are it's in Imperial Armour: Apocalypse.
