I am just starting up a blood angels army and would like some advice. Here it is so far,

Hq: Commander Dante
Elites:
Librarian dreadnought w/drop pod
Furioso dreadnought blood claws w/drop pod
2 Sanguinary priests one with power fist
Corbulo
Troops:
10 assault marines 2 flamers
10 assault marines 2 meltas
Sanguinary guard w/one power fist and one axe
Sanguinary guard w/one power fist and one axe
Fast attack: baal predator


This is by no means a compettitive list but any advice will help, thanks.

What's your goal for the army? If it's pure CC, that's a fun list.

The biggest issue you'll have is against flyers. Also, I'd honestly take the Baal out, it just doesn't quite fit and will be a target more than anything. Maybe a normal dreadnought instead?

What would you change though besides the baal to make it a little more compettitive? Also should I get rid of the sanguinary guard?

You said at the start you're not looking to be competitive. I have never had Sanguinary Guard do well for me. They are fun, but they just get squished with no invul.

If ya want a more competitive list...Drop Dante, Corbulo, and the Sang Guard. Take Librarian in Terminator armor, 5 Terminators with TH/SS, a Land Raider Crusader to drive them around in, and with your remaining points either drop the Baal and take a Stormraven with TLAssault Cannon and TL MM, or take another Baal (make sure they both have Twin Linked Assault Cannons and Heavy Bolters if you do).

I just finished my deathwing army so I have had my share with terminators. Is there are any other cc compettitive units? Also what are dreadnoughts best loadout? Btw you have been really helpful, thank you.

Hq: Libby mastery level 2 and jump pack
Elites:

Storm raven with assault cannon and melta

The storm raven will cary the death company and the death company dread. What do you think? This is still not a competitive list, I just dont want to get killed in game.

Corbulo can only really go with the death company in this list. I would advise finding him a new foot unit to go with or swap him for a chaplain to go with the death company.

Best unit curbulo goes with is TH/SS termis. tanking all strength 7 or lower shots and look out siring the rest. SP's go well with ten man ASM. if you are going to go JP list then take 30 JP and 3 SP. power fist is unnecessary. Mephy is a great HQ, but a base libby works too. get a scout squad with camo cloaks and SR going to ground behind ruins for an objective. Baal preds scouting 12 then moving 12 with flamestorm can be fun, but take two.

Corbs goes really well with Sternguard as well. TH/SS terminators lack of ability to project force is a serious problem. They suffer because assault sucks.
