It's barely bigger than the regular infantry figures, but costs the same as the other TAGs that are nearly twice its size? If it were prices more in the $20-$25 area, I would consider getting it, but as it is, it's out of the running for being too expensive and too small.
The Sphinx isn't actually that small...but since you are wanting to eventually use it in a force you have, that's a different story entirely.

Try checking The Warstore or Atomic Empire Games to see if they have a Guijia for cheaper.
The guidelines you set down make this a bit difficult to discuss as TAGs tend to be very pricey models since they're solid metal and fairly large/complex builds.
The Tikbalang would probably easily be my choice if it were actually out. It does have a nice design. But, it and the Uhlan are both in limbo.
Tikbalang, Uhlan, and the Seraph are the three PanO TAGs "in limbo".
I do eventually use whatever TAG I do get. At least if I were to wind up with the Guijia, I could actually use that since I have a fieldable Yu Jing force. I could probably flub an Anaconda with my Haqqislam since it's a Merc TAG, too.
Anaconda isn't really a "merc"
TAG. It's a Merovingian
TAG, at the moment if that makes sense to you. The general mercenary rules are pretty much dead at this point and the poor nature of those rules is why we're seeing the Mercenary "Sectorial" lists.
Most likely the Anaconda will also be available in the Black Hand Sectorial(if it stays on course for a release) or the purportedly Nomad themed Mercenary Sectorial when that comes out.
