Since completing the Pewter Ponies Kickstarter we’ve been hard at work on the second project, The Evil Ponies!
They’re intended to provide adversaries for all the cutey muffin loving ponies that have come before.
I’d love to be able to work on another successful Kickstarter project, and with your help it can be done. Please share the project with anyone you believe may have an interest.
Nope, drunken fever vision. Totally different thing. The leprechaun will eat your eyeballs while you sleep.
I'm debating whether to get in on this. I did like the first one, but not sure if I want skeletal ponies as opposed to more of the normal ponies. I'm waiting for manticore, sea serpent, evil tree, shadowbolt minis so I can make a convincing RPG out of the first episode of the show.

The witches are a must-have, and dr. pones is nice. The swarm ponies are a bit of a missed opportunity since they don't have the swiss cheese designs from the changelings in the show.. bit too tyraniddy rather than cute-but-fangy.

As someone who has zero interest in MLP but does in RPG Chibi models, I want nothing but the skeleton ponies and the horsemen ponies... But I need to see some sculpts of them first.

Yeah, there's going to be a lot of people interested in this one that weren't interested in the last one and vice versa.. the skeletal ponies and flying drone swarm beasties and four horsemen definitely have more manestream appeal so this should do well.
I'll pick up the witches at retail since I can't pass up the chance to get three Trixies, or if this hits £10k I'll go in for a £19 pledge for pones/pony of shadows and the witches... maybe a necromancer too, looks like it could be a cool miniature.
Very much looking forward to the mythical beasts KS that's coming after this, the tv show has had a rather nice selection of those, including manticore, hydra, chimera, cockatrice, cerberus and even more exotic stuff like an ahuizotl. Lots of potential there!

Really well, casting quality is brilliant, even quite complex sculpts like pegasi with outstretched wings are still 1-piece casts, almost nothing needs gluing.
I'm really happy with the results of the first KS, it was delivered exactly on time, and to a very high quality standard... and this new KS is being launched with the first one fully delivered and the retail release for it sorted.

It's a shame that mythical beasts KS is coming round, as that was going to be the next project. (I really want to sculpt up some monsters) BTW~ I've tried to go for a semi swiss cheese thingy.

I can't make the sculpts quick enough! Although I do hope to have one skeleton pony done before the end of the project. Please do join up, I have no intention to do a bad job of it you know!

^ I was referring to your mythical beasts KS with that post.. think it'll be really popular since it won't just be ponies but all kinds of critters that your average wargamer might go for.
I have noticed that sculpts in advance seems to be the way to go for mini kickstarters these days, the ones that have them just plain do better than ones that don't.

Gotta love Tyranid ponies. Though for a moment I thought it was Legion of Everblight, instead.

Sorry, must have been rather tired when reading through the posts
And yes I agree, next time, an actual mini or two!

Managed to finish the witch and skeleton pony. I feel the skeleton pony head needs a little tweaking but I’m pretty pleased with the witch on a broomstick, flying around and all.
I’ve also ‘unlocked’ the unlocks in the hope of getting a few more people interested, and with the project nearing it’s end if you wanted to join in now’s the time!
Because humans are weird, insane, slightly disturbed, and Fing awesome.
I honestly wish I could get some but finances are so bad even a pot of paint is a major debate. Being an unemployed student sucks.
For a few reasons. There are people that want to paint or play games with fantasy pony creatures... Alot of the people that took part in the original where fathers buying them for their daughters to try and include them in gaming. Some others just wanted ponies!
To be honest though could ask why are orcs, space marines, etc a thing!

Shame you can't afford to join in, but even if you could throw a pound or two into the KS it would be appreciated.
Only needs another £650 to fund, definitely coming close to the wire.
The project is funded Scarlet!
And on the final day the war pony of the apocalypse decides to turn up too...
There's still a little time left on the kickstarter if you fancy jumping in! With an exclusive figure and a free figure or two to be had now's the time.
