So after getting IA 12 , I am super stoked about the Dark Harvest Options and have decided that a "Tyranid Style" army would be super fun to play. The biggest thing is I am lacking in ANTI - AIr because well my army has 9 Spyders!!

So uh where do I go , it's not got a lot of flyer support/ anti flyer but it's got everything else.

Definitely seems fun. I can't really speak on the spiders, as I haven't encountered them nor do I know their rules. Do they put out much dakka at all, or are they strictly cc oriented?

This list definitely has less AA options than a normal necron list (seeing that anni barges are incredibly cost efficient AA), but I don't think you're quite as light on AA as you make it out to be. Most SM lists are rocking 3 storm talons and maybe a storm raven for AA. My daemons have to rely on Fateweaver and in a pinch prescienced flickering fire from the Tzeentch Heralds (its a hybrid hound and mini-screamerstar list). I think 12 skyfire S7 AP4 TL that what tesla does is pretty respectable.

You could try it at 2K double FOC to add in some Anni Barges, but at a glance it doesn't look too bad to me

Add another 4 bases to the scarabs for the remaining 60pts, as for AA this ^^ is right, 3 night scythes are good AA as it is, though I think the spiders may be underwhelming as they are strictly CC but they do have the possible +9 scarab bases per turn which is sick!

What about buffing out that Flayed ones squad? 52 Points get's me 4 more of them and they infiltrate. There is the possibilty to go with Two Destroyer Lords, that would save me points. I could also take actual weapons on the Spyders ( they're okay )

I have already converted a Kutlakh model, and want to try him out on a command barge, some sweeping attack with instant death would be cool
also I think the list you are trying would be super cool with some Charnel Scarabs,
I used them once and they literally SHRED thru anything
also with the amount of spiders you are using you could fill up some scarab swarms super quick

Yeah, I thought about getting the Scarabs, but I don't think you can add to the scarab squad that has rending :( It's a super fun list the only downside is the minimum troop squads being 10 , but otherwise the bonuses they get are insane. Plus being able to ally in normal Necrons I think makes it a win.

Now to just beat people over the head with the fact that it most certainly is a legit army.

Yeah.. gonnaa have to save up to buy the Tesseract Ark. Cause that thing is seriously crazy town insane. I wished I owned one. I'm proxying models and getting old Spyders for cheap.
