Hello! I'm going up against a bunch of people this week. Really wanting some feedback on what you guys think.

HQ
Librarian - 100pts
+ Psyker Mastery Level 2

Troops
Tactical Squad - 180pts
+ 1 Veteran Sergeant
+ 9 Marines with Plasmagun and Plasma Cannon

Tactical Squad - 170pts
+ Normal Sergeant
+ 9 Marine with Plasmagun and Plasma Cannon

Tactical Squad - 70pts
+ No upgrades

Elites
+ Deathwing Terminator Squad - 240pts
+ 1 Assault Cannon

+ Deathwing Terminator Squad - 240pts
+ 1 Cyclone ML

TOTAL: 1000pts (if my math's correct)

So what do you guys think? I removed the Veteran Sergeant in the 2nd Tactical Squad to be able to give way for another 5-man Squad because I wanted more guns shooting at hordes.
Also, is it good that I have both CML and Assault Cannon? Or should I take 2 of both?
Note: Basing off this army from the DV set

Veteran sgts only really offer improved leadership over regular marines and that is useless in an army like da where leadership is already high. I'd remove him from squad 1

I'd then look into ditching the third marine blob and grabbing a tank or two. With 80pts you could get a whirlwind for dealing with mob armies and then buy some upgrades.

Or you could get a razorback with tl lascannon to tackle av13

Your army has two weaknesses. You have no mobility and you have nothing that really excels at making an enemy go bang after a single solid blow. And omitting the termies nobody can kill a heavy tank. Your at the mercy of a lot of nasty factors for 1000pts

I am not saying the build isn't good, I'm pointing out ways your build would struggle.

DA army: 3500pts,
admech army: 600pts

I agree on dropping the 3rd tac squad, as a whirlwind would do the job better from longer range. The terminators are your only real AT, and while the plasma cannons come with the DV set, they are not ideal weapons.

CML is good for long range, assault cannon for a squad dropping in via deathwing assault.

I don't think you need 2 levels on your libby, one is sufficient to get prescience or whatever. Two powers is a bit overkill.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Thanks a lot.Dropping the 3rd tac squad and making way for vehicles and maybe for fortification if needed.

Interesting thought, I'll try out a list with having a Libby only at Level 1.
