Hey guys, I've been getting into Orks lately so I decided to make a Home Brew Clan, called the "Wurld Killaz" lead by "Khran'akk Wurldkilla". They're all about 'Eavy armour and big weapons and Dakka. Its a foot slogging list that's built to take the hits until they stomp their enemies good in CC.
I've got lots of shoota Boyz because I thought it'd work out beneficial to shoot while they run across the board with more Dakka to apply a few extra attacks before the brutal CC initiates.

The strategy I was thinking of was to put the Boss with the Meganobz and have the Ard Boyz in front, soaking up dmg, the Shoota Boyz just behind, shooting, the Kans and Dread as a shied infront and to take out vehicles while the lootas also shoot at vehicles and the big mek sits in the middle giving as many boyz the 5+ cover save as possible.
Let me know what you guys think and please leave any ideas and opinions you have.

U know that you need some transport for megaarmor guys? Slow and purposful rule mean thay cant run and they treat normal terrain as difficult. Thats why you need bw or trukk. Im not using nobz in boyz unless they are in transport. Precision shots can easly kill them. Depends against who you play if you kniw what i mean.

Hmm, that's a good point about the BW or Trukk Mr.T. I'll need to remove something to fit it in though. Maybe the Kans, as I've heard the 2 hull points and 11 armour makes them next to useless.

I'd make the 'ard boyz, regular boyz. There are alot of ap4 weapons, and even then, its a 50/50 shot on whether or not the save will make it. You also have the KFF so they will all have a 5+ cover save
But you can drop the 'ard boyz for reg boyz for 120 pts, thats enough for a battlewagon with a deff rolla and 2 big shootas.

True, although I like the idea of 'Ard Boyz. And it's fluffy for my Clan. They are expensive though and, as you say, there is a lot of AP 4. I'm just worried I don't have enough bodies in there to take the hits before they smash into CC. With the 4+ they have a slightly better chance of soaking up a bit more damage. The Wagon would be handy though...

honestly I would expect that 30-large 'ard boyz mob to make it in to CC with at most 2 units. And because they are footslogging, it will be with whatever units your enemy wants them to be in CC with. However, your meganobs will not get in to CC with anybody without a transport.
and have 90 ork boys is going to be plenty of bodies. The fluffy argument is a hard one to overcome, and I def want you to enjoy your army. But there is no harm in modeling them with all that armor and just calling them regular boyz either.

Yeah good point. I'll do that then. I reckon it'll end up better. And also true about modelling them with armour and saying they're normal Boyz. Thanks for the help dude

And I love the idea of walkers. Killa kans, Deff Dreads, Dreadnoughts. But as you play you may discover you would like to swap them out. But for now I would keep them in, because they are still really fun to field. Are they optimized? oh my, no. But are they fun and orky? 'eck yes!

Doesn't Ghaz make the unit Relentless?
Also, considering Ghazzy's point cost, statline, and immunity to ID I would try to support him with a FnP somehow.
If you are gonna put Big Shoota's in those boyz mobs go ahead and take 3.
I think you should give the Deff Dread something else other than a Rokkit Launcha to shoot with.
I don't think you can give individual Nob's in boyz squads a stikkbomb without giving it to the whole unit which means it's too expensive of an upgrade considering Orkz are I2 unless you are fighting someone using nothing but unwieldy weapons.

Hey there. Thought I'd offer my outlook on the situation if I may. I did a quick revision of the list and stuck as close to the original spirit as I could. +HQ+ Ghazghkull Thraka: 225pts Big Mek: 85pts -KFF +TROOPS+ Thraka's Nobz: 245pts -3 Meganobz + Dedicated Wagon -Deffrolla -RPJ -2 Big shootas on the wagon Boyz Mob: 220pts -29 boyz + Nob -Armour -Klaw Boyz Mob: 220pts -29 boyz + Nob -Armour -Klaw Boyz Mob: 220pts -29 boyz + Nob -Armour -Klaw Grots: 40pts -10 grots + 1 Runtherd Big Mek's Dread: 115pts -Armour Plates -4 DCCW +FAST ATTACK+ Dakkajet: 120pts -3 TL Supa Shootas +HEAVY SUPPORT+ Kan Mob: 110pts -2 Kanz with grotzookas and armour plates Looted Wagon: 125pts -Ard Case -Boomgun -Big Shoota Looted Wagon: 125pts -Ard Case -Boomgun -Big Shoota First of all I cut out the ard boyz. I know you want armour, but ard boyz are really just too expensive for what they do, unless they're something like a dedicated battlewagon choppa slugga mob to bully AP- melee enemies. I also cut the lootas because they were the lone backfield unit that would be annihilated by outflankers or deep strikers, and likely wouldn't make their points back first turn anyway. I find they're really best used only if you have a strong firebase already, or else the enemy will just snipe them out because of their fierce (in my experience undeserved) reputation. If you really want Lootas, consider cutting out the Deff Dread if anything to make room. However, it still includes Ghazzy and the manz, and gives them a battlewagon to ride in to keep up with the rest of the footslogging boyz running phase. Additionally, by putting the Big Mek into the Battlewagon, (mileage may vary) you can capitalize on the large dimensions of the vehicle and measure your 6" KFF anywhere from its hull, rather than from a rather small model. That gives you a massive force multiplier right there. I had to cut out one of the Kanz, but only because I wanted to squeeze in some looted wagons to get you some nice pie plates, and also to draw some heat off the Gha-Manz-KFF wagon central to your army. I also gave the Kanz grotzookas instead of rokkits because frankly you can get S8 shooting all over the place in the ork codex, but the S6 double small blast is freaking amazing and a total steal at 5 points less. The idea with this list is the BW is in the middle, flanked on either side by wagons. Kans on whichever side seems like it needs more dakka, Dread on the side that needs more krump. Deploy boy mobz so that at least one model is within 6" of the bw's hull, but make sure if you're congo lining it that he isn't in the front ranks otherwise he could be picked off and the unit will lose its shield, make sense? The grots hang out on any backfield objectives you have. If there are no backfield objectives, just have em stick behind the wagons and take any midfield objective that the horde sweeps over. Make sure you move the wagon a bit slower than the 12" so you don't outpace your mobz until the time is right for krumpin. Don't forget you can measure from any point on the hull of an open topped vehicle, so measure from that bumper! Also, make sure that the Mek stays in the wagon. He's there for the bubble and the bubble only, dont go putting him in krumps. The dakkajet is there to capitalize on Ghazzie's double turn Waaaagh for crazy amounts of twin linked BS3 s6 firepower. Mulch em for at least two turns! EDIT: also stikkbombs are not worth it. I2 aint much to be proud of so we're striking last pretty much every time bruh, especially on someone with a power klaw. If anything, just take one for the nob so he can throw it or something instead of firing his pistol, but honestly if the orks get a good charge it really isnt gonna matter a whole lot. Boyz before toyz!
