Hey all, just got the inquisition codex and id like some clarification on a few points.

One: Does prescience work on other psykers? I'm thinking an inq with prescience sits with a group of warband psykers.
Two: on that note, the entry in the rulebook and codex differ on the brotherhood of psykers and perils wound allocation. the RB says only one unit is effected, the codex says all are, any help with that?
Three; can you really ally inquistion with inquisition? that seems bit broken to me.
Four; Can your Inq primary detachment take fortifications by themselves or would i need an able ally for that?

Sorry for the twenty questions (was going to say inquisition haha), any help is greatly welcome.

1) If they are firing a weapon / hitting people that require a "to hit" roll, then yes
2) not sure what you mean there, you may need to explian a little more!
3) Is that what the Ally chart states?
4) Yes, any primary detachment can take a fortification

1) Depends what you mean by "work". Prescience will allow them to re-roll missed To Hit rolls, and if you're wondering about Psychic Shooting Attacks those are worked out as if they were Assault shooting weapons (page 69) so Prescience will give them a re-roll.

2) In cases where a Codex and the Rulebook specifically conflict, the Codex takes precedence (page 7). So the whole unit suffer from Perils.

3) Not quite sure what you're after here. Inquisition can either be used as a Primary Detatchment or as an Inquisitorial Detatchment (which is different to the normal Allied Detatchment). So you could have (for example) Primary Grey Knights (Coteaz, Henchmen, Assassins etc.) with an Inquisitorial Detatchment added without using the available Allied Detatchment (so you could ally in some Sisters of Battle or whatever as well).

4) A Primary Inquisition detatchment would have access to a Fortification as you're only replacing the normal Primary Detatchment (looking at page 109, the diagram shows the 1-2 HQ, 2-6 Troops etc. bit of the Primary, with Allied and Fortification in separate shaded boxed - you're only replacing the top bit).
