Hi guys! So i'm new to the forums but i'm trying to get my name out there!

So heres the jist of things... I want to paint for you fine gamers! I am looking to get in to doing the odd commission job here and there to fill my days!

Recently I have been told by friends and staff members of the GW stores that I should consider taking on a few jobs to see how things go. So thats just what i'm doing If anyone is interested in having anything painted up in the near future PLEASE let me know I want to be able to help YOU!... I know what you're thinking tho. Why don't I have any photos up yet? well they are to come. I don't have many, but I have some that I feel can justify my skills.

I'm very much a fan of hard edge highlighting and building up in MANY layers in order to achieve that fine, crisp, professional looking finish to your models

As far as I can tell, your stuff is pretty good, but you should really step up your photography if you want to get commissions.

In the case of the image above, you need to adjust the exposure so that the miniature's paintjob is clearly visible. White backgrounds tend to make this more difficult if you don't have access to a camera with manual exposure controls.

Thats just it. getting images is proving to be very difficult :( The last thing that I want to do it make excuses for myself. I know that I can do the work. It's proving it with decent pictures that is proving to be most difficult.

It's like anything else you just need to practice.

Posting pictures is wicked easy. You've already uploaded them. Just right click on the image > copy image URL (or image location, or something along those lines depending on browser) and then post it between IMG tags. When you write a new post there are image buttons that put the tags around, but you can just type (without quotes) ["img"]image url goes here ["/img"] and that'll do it.

I figiure Ill just ask. How much do you plan on charging? And how is the shipping going to work? Cause I imagine we all dont live in the wonderful town of dakka
