Seeing that my previous post was a complete and utter failure here is my new updated WIP
This is my chapter master midway through painting

Better photos would make it easier to see what he looks like. Try helping your camera to focus by putting a white background in, or any single colour really, as long as the background is all that colour. I personally find the best results with white.

However, from what I can see he looks really good. What Chapter does he represent? And is his base too big for a power armoured model? But overall, nice build, I've always liked those chunky shoulder pads, and a spear never fails to look awesome.

I haven't stuck him to any base yet, or any of his arms to his torso, just holding him together with some blue tack whilst I decide on his pose and everything.

When I get time I'll take some better photos

The back story to him and his chapter is going to be a privatized military company on a desolate forge world.
I'm using a lot of the Iron Hands as inspiration (the body of the CM is a FW apothecary) and am going to be using the FW Iron Hands heads and other minor bits for conversions and such.
Due to them being a mercenary force I am aiming to use older armors to model the lack of resources as well as various bits from other chapters that were borrowed/stolen/looted.

I know this is probably going against every SM and his emperor but I like the idea of a badass Super Soldier of Fortune.

It looks neat, but being flat black, we can't see any kind of detail or particularly cool parts of it. Get some color on this bitch.

Okay folks I have done the armour trim and his eye, input on what colour his cape should b, i'm thinking a light blue also how should I paint his lance?
