Deployment – So deploy all the termagants slap bang on the edge of the 12 inch line, behind them would be the warriors to give synapse, behind them would be the carni’s followed by the thrope. The 3 flyers would be split up either side, pending on what flank has more threats.

Plan – March that massive centre block up the middle, with the gants and warriors providing a shield for my fex’s and the venomthrope giving them all the bubble ( I don’t know what the cover save would be off the top of my head, if someone could tell me that would be awesome). When in range charge the carnifexs at anything that it’ll rip up, eat some marines, open up some tanks. If they don’t get damaged much and that shield soaks up most of the damage, there gunna cause chaos.

Whilst this is going on, they still have 2 flyrants to deal with, a crone and a mawloc to deal with.

Would this be a good plan/ idea for a competitive game or would you think it would fall apart? Theres a lot of threats on the board and if they don’t deal with that middle piece, there’s a load more pain on the way! Let me know what you think.

I'm not sure about your point costs...are you only buying one set of Brain Leeches? If so, I think it's a bad plan....if not how are you paying for Old adv.? I definatly think you're too short on Troops. Personally I don't cotton Crushing claws, but maybe they work for you. If thats how you roll, why not look at dataslate III, it has some cool Carnifex Formations...?

Right off the bat I would suggest instead of old adversary you could take toxic sacs on your tyrants (it gives them rerolls to wound when you're fighting weaker/same T models) which is what you want and it does it better. (and gives you the ability to wound T8 models more efficiently) pinecone is correct you are light on troops and what I would suggest with that is to maybe remove one carnifex and fill out those points with gaunts/gants. I'd also perfer to have more than one node of Synapse for my swarm(even in 1500) so I normally run two squads of three warriors (which gets expensive.. but it's well worth it I think) The Mawlock is fine but it can be a "hit-or-miss" situation - it is entirely possible for him to deviate from his intended drop and do nothing but soak wounds which he does well I suppose. I haven't played with the Hive Crone yet but the St8 VS looks like candy.
