This is my unpainted Daemon Prince. I'm working on getting all my stuff built, so I can start playing some battles, and then paint it as I go. A finished army is taking much longer than I thought,

I like the posing a lot, but there's a couple mold lines you need to shave off. The largest I can see is on the left bicep.

I got rid of it I think. I always miss them.

That's a really great base for him! What colour scheme were you thinking for this beast?

Base is interesting, I suppose.

Looks like classic Khorne colours.

I'm not entirely sure, but not wholly classic Khorne.

I would go with classic khorne but with a much darker red, because black and gold works really well.

Khorne, nice!

I would also suggest going a darker route than the traditional Khorne scheme. Especially if you want to do the skin a different colour than the armour. I had my DPoK dressed up with green skin, and it looked off until I darkened it up.

Yes, the skin will either be very light, or very dark. I have built a combat familiar on the base, but I'm not sure about him to be honest.

Great model, what did you use to make the base?

I got some rubble from http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com and stuck them together. I had to drill them and pin them with wire, as I think they're made from plaster, and even that doesn't react well with super glue. I then added some green stuff, some sand, and some skulls.
