Firstly let me just say, that no, I'm not gonna use any model and green stuff tits onto it. No, the model will not be half naked with 7 boobs hanging out. Yes, it may be Slannesh, but that has nothing to do with fluff purposes, only competitively.
Anyway, now that that is cleared, I have been having a look at potential models I could use to make a female Chaos Sorcerer. Long fluff short, she started out as a human psyker, intended to become one of the psykers used to keep the emperor alive. She's trying to get free, Commander is given orders to kill her, he doesn't, she gets messed up, he goes into a rage (which begins his transformation into a Khorne Chaos Lord) yaddayaddayadda, using the technology of a dark mechanicum, they essentially "Darth Vader" her into a "suit" of powerful metal that I will try and count as Terminator Armour.
Anyway, I've decided to use the Iron Mother Directrix model from Warmachine, only thing is after getting the model I realised just how petite it is, I think I may need to do some conversions, just wanted some opinions and suggestions?

Just how small is the model? It looks roughly the same size as a terminator once you take all the back sections into consideration.

The model itself looks very nice but I'm not sure if it really fits the chaosy theme. I don't mean that in a necessarily bad way. Just CSM look goofy with all their spikes and ponytails and such, while this model is very smooth and angelic.

Overall I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Yeah it is actually about the same size as a terminator and comes on the same size base as well. Yeah I agree, I was thinking the same thing, at the very least I really need to add some spikey stuff! Make her look a lot more, evil and threatening I guess, and less like "You have to eat ALL your dinner before you can go killing things!"

Well I'm not saying you need to mess with such a good looking model to make it fit the theme. There could be thousands of ways to make it fit in story wise.

Like she gets entrapped in an ancient xenos armor that amplifies her psychic powers and gives her the ability to dominate or lure a warband of CSM.

It mostly depends on the color scheme you go with too. I think a black with gold trim paint scheme for the armor with the eyes and other "power" sources painted red would give it a sufficiently ominous look.

... Emp-food psykers are the weakest of psykers the Imperium can get their hands on. Probably not the sort that can suddenly become powerful Sorcerers (which is, basically, an actual wizard... complete with grimoires and eyes of newts and similar stuff required for their arcana).

Also... these weak-ass psykers don't know they're Emp-food until they're on Terra. That's after all the tests and judging and rating of their abilities is known, and it is determined that they don't make the very-minimal grade to be an Astropath (the weakest of the useful psykers in the Imperium). They're also surrounded by all kinds of Untouchables/Blanks and psi-warded soldiers and equipment. If her and her bodyguard friend there had their freak-out on Terra, they'd never get off the planet alive, let alone out of the room.

Might want to think about having their relationship established on some other world, and his freak-out comes when the Inquisition's Black Ship arrives to take her away. Much more plausible, and also more believable, within the constraints of the fluff. This would also make it much more likely that they could find someone (Alpha Legion, for example) locally that could assist them in acquiring aid from the Dark Mechanicus (who aren't exactly common on Holy Terra, to put it lightly).

As far as models go? I think that Iron Mother looks just fine as-is. So what if she's petite? She's 95% synthetic. She could be build out of adamantite and psychically-impregnated Necrodermis or something.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Thanks heaps for all that info, I based all my lore from what I was able to find in the CSM codex and various wikis on the web.
I was under the impression that the most powerful psykers are either killed or used to fuel the emperor as they're too dangerous to themselves and everyone around them, many however are recruited into the Grey Knights. However, as most, if not all Space Marines are predominantly male, and the psyker mutation isn't necessarily restricted to males, then surely those female psykers would make up the majority of those that spend their eternal lives under service to the emperor. I would assume that being a powerful psyker she may have been able to predict or foresee what might happen. However, I haven't properly written up the backstory, so it won't at all be difficult to modify it whatsoever. In terms of the Dark Mechanicum, the story involved them attacking a manufactorum that was already under control by a Chaos Sorcerer, however, the Alpha Legion is by far the legion that interests me the most (I would love to see a supplement for them) so I could by all means incorporate them into the story as well.
As for opinion on the model, I appreciate that greatly! It even comes with a couple other little models which I will probably use as Spell Familiars. I had though of using Necrons as allies, which could work fluff wise with the model, however, to relate to the entire army, Heretics and Renegades, or Tau would fit a better role

kingdom death have the most fantastic female models. I know you say she will not be half naked and I totaly respect that. But given you can use bits and green stuff to "dress" her, it think some models could be a good base. Beware the scale nevertheless. Good luck !

Kingdom Death are totally inappropriate, they're an entirely different scale if nothing else.

Drop me a PM, Athurion, and when I get home tonight I'll give you some world of origin data that'll help you fluff her.

To be brutally honest - I don't see thick plates of armour being modified externally for a woman - I would expect it to look just like the male chest pieces - just with a little extra room inside.

I would suggest buying a Chaos Terminator Lord model and then, rather than using the terminator lord heads, inserting a Dark Eldar (40K) Wytch head or other female head you may have handy.

(This method also means you're not chastised should you try and use the model in a GW... though if you bought a proxy originally I doubt you care much for that and as such it's not an issue for you)

Could this model work?

I know it doesn't look terminator-ish

I have already obtained the Iron Mother, I'm still open for suggestions, regardless if I use it for 40k or not, its still quite a nice model. I really only play with friends anyway, I'm not an overly competitive person and I love having the unusual models to make my back story that much more richer!
I did find a great model, Black Widow by HiTech Miniatures, which if you check it out is literally a chick in Terminator Armour, but I didn't like the model as a whole that much, having something like the Iron Mother sets me up for much more interesting fluff which could involve anything from Fabius Bile, to Necrons, to the Dark Mechanicum
That model from Raging Heroes is really nice, I actually stumbled across that website and liked a lot of the models but couldn't remember what website it was after, so thanks for that

All of Raging Heroes' stuff is top-notch. I've got a... sizeable order... of their TGG line from their Kickstarter campaign coming in a few months.

And the fact that the Iron Mother is "under dressed" is, I think, kind of a cool aspect to a Sorcerer, who would probably rely on all kinds of arcane defenses rather than bulky armor (you could also go with the old D&D line, bulky armor restricts movement, and thus prevents spell-casters from being able to perform the complex gestures needed to wield magic.)

The only super-powerful psykers that get offed are the ones that are determined to be weak-willed and incapable of resisting daemonic temptations and the like. The IG, after all, fields Primaris Psykers, which (as their title suggests) are some of the most-powerful human psykers alive. Those of equal power but other application are, most often, sent to the Inquisition for their use... some might even become Inquisitors themselves, given enough time.

Tied to a bedpost in an old motel, confused and naked.

It's sexism if you don't have at least one female unit. I put boobs on some of my Necrons. I call them 'lady bots'.

My next question would be how would I go about representing her wargear. I thought of giving her a force sword, against standard infantry, and perhaps a chain fist against vehicles. I can't exactly stick a termie chainfist on her, i did however think i might use an eldar powersword or witchblade to resemble the force sword, which as like her are much less bulkier than the CSM equivalent. The chainfist may not be necessary, i dont know if ill have her going up against tanks necessarily

If you can get your hands on an old eldar close combat weapon sprue you could build a chain fist out of the powerfist/chainsword pieces you'd have?

I do actually have a sprue of some dark eldar wyches, I am using one of the power swords from that for her, otherwise that is what I might have to do!
