Does anybody know if FW plans to update the Dkok lists (Siege & Assault) with options (items/costs/orders) from the new A.M. codex?

I think it depends how much the IG codex changes and whether FW want to keep DKOK separate or integrate them into IG. Personally I think separate is fine, if they become to imbalanced they can update them on their own.

I think they may intend to, but don't hold your breath. They have answered lots of peoples' question that they are indeed updating the eldar corsairs list following the new eldar book, but that's been out a year and no sign of an update!

I too believe that they will have to make a FAQ or an overall update.
Especially in the Siege list it says for X (warlord traits,orders,weapons..etc..etc..) look it up in the IG codex.

The Siege list uses the "old' Hydra rules.
Not opened topped , other cost and it can ignore Jinx witch the new one doesn't anymore)

wow... the book has been out less than 24 hours and the complaining is contageous.

why not just consider them being used the same way as IG were used with Death Korps before?

I agree, can't really see any. The closest thing is that the update is going to take a while, which it probably will do.

I hope that they do release an FAQ updating all the previously identical units and weapons, on the other hand so far as I can see the only thing which would carry over from the new Astra Militarum is the new Orders list. The Siege Regiment army list simply describes the Company Commander, Platoon Commander and Deathrider squadron leader as Senior and Junior Officers respectively, meaning they follow the current Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum rules for what a Senior and Junior Officer can do. This means they get to use the new Orders, because the *old* Orders are not specifically listed in the DKoK army list.

Personally I'm really looking forward to picking up the codex on Tuesday because I love the look of the new orders, and the rest of my army is not affected by other changes. Wouldn't mind Leman Russ points drop though...
