I've never played Necrons and I wanted to start so this was a list I thought up. Spamming a ton of the AV13, really big LoS blocking vehicles sounded awesome. The Stalkers sounds great too with the whole TL shenanigans.
Pretty much the idea was to have an army that was annoying as heck to kill the itself let loose a good bit of firepower

NEVER spam ghost arks or play a small squad of warriors. Do two squads of ten warriors, each in ghost arks. Drop an overlord with his command barge and add on some immortals with tesla carbines or deathmarks in a night scythe (your choice which)

Gainsborough, LINCS

To give you an idea, 5 x Warriors in a Nightscythe works well, flyer, twin tesla and great for last minute objectives.
Annihilation Barges, easily the best HS choice for 90 points.
5 x Deathmarks with a Despairtek give you a 2+ ap2 flamer in a Scythe even better.
Lastly all your overlords NEED
Mss
2+/3++
Warscythe and Gauss on the Barge.

I see, I had my doubts too about the Ghost Ark spamming but it just sounded pretty damned awesome.

About the Annihilation though. Vindicators have always been the unit of choice for bring some serious firepower for space marines and the Doomsday Arks seems to fit that role. Understood though, is the Annihilation's awesome guns and low cost letting it shred through units.

I was trying to get the Overlords the upgrades so they don't die but I will amend and work around this.

What are the advantages of Immortals over Deathmarks though? And with 10 man units of Warriors, where do the Destroyerteks go? Just drop them?

The immortals are more... Let's say reliable units than warriors with a toughness five and a 3+ armour save. However, deathmarks are the best choice if your enemy has that really annoying unit that decimates half of your army. With the special rule they have, you can choose one infantry unit on your opponents side. The unit you've chosen then gets wounded on a 2+ if you decide to fire at them with the deathmarks.

I see. Deathmarks sound like the better choice to remove threats.

Out of my Mind

Triarch Stalkers are infinitely better at supporting mass firepower. So Warrior heavy armies benefit the most from them. You've got so many units that will at best let loose 10 shots, that you're really not going to be taking advantage of their Targeting Relay, and with so many Vehicles on this list, you'll end up blocking your own firing lines more often than not. It's a good attempt at using an Elites slot to give additional punch to your tanks. If you want to keep them and use them simply for the damage they'll cause, then drop the HGC, and give both of them the Particle Shredder. It's still S7 so it's great against infantry and is a threat to light Vehicles and you're not going to have to worry too much about the Targeting relay.

The reasons your list will work is because the bigger threats are the D-Arks, and the ABarge. You're opponents are going to be more worried about those than the Ghost Ark squads, but you're going to be boned if your opponents can deal with them, or ignore them to eliminate your G-Arks and scoring units.

There is nothing wrong with running 4 Arks, but I'll agree that more than 2 it starts to become less effective. You really do need 10/9+ Court in each of those Arks. ANYTHING that will increase their survival will help keep them around until the other Arks can come in. As it stands right now, the tactic would be focus on a G-Ark, then kill the 5 guys inside. There would be no RP, and no option for 'Repair Barge'. Even if you did, you're capping yourself out at 5 anyways, so you're not going to last long.

If you're working at building up to this list, then I'd start with 2, and learn to run a squad on the ground sandwiched between them. Once you got a feel for how it works, then you can decide if the 4 Barges tactic is worth it. I'd also recommend just running 1 D-Ark to start out with. They're a double edged blade and you might find that you will not like them as much on the table vs. how they look on paper. I'd even recommend dropping one of the D-Arks for a 2nd ABarge, and using those points to bulk out the Warrior squads.

Immortals aren't T5 anymore unless I'm reading this wrong.

I see. I presume "sandwiching" the Warriors literally means running them between 2 Ghost Arks?

I picked the Triarchs just because the Targeting Relay rule just seemed too awesome to not get, no other army gets TL for everything this easy (as far as I know).

I'll keep the warning about the Doomsday Arks in mind and the Annihilation Barge is definitely powerful.

Are foot-slogging Immortals good though? I'd like to run them as a squad of 10 with Tesla and a Overlord with the Resurrection Orb on them

I love playing with a Triarch Stalkers. I gather they are unpopular here, but I have never once not had them pay back their points with plenty of interest. Also unpopular here, I always take it with the TL Heavy Gauss Cannon. Sit the guy 35" from his target, you'll most likely get a hit with TL, and then rip the target to shreds with your mid-range fire.

If you take them, then just remember, for the love of baby bhudda, remember to shoot with them first.

FYI, your Triarch Stalker(s?) with the TL Heavy Gauss Cannon will cost you 165 for the weapon upgrade.

What I'd do is drop one of the Triarchs, replace with another 10 warriors for scoring.

Also, your Chronometron should have a plan, otherwise its not so great. Since you're not bringing Imotek, or Arankyr, or someone with a special rule that's just begging for a re-roll, I'd go back to your Harbinger of Destruction. Gaze of Flame seems pretty cool, but for me has always been a waste of points (I play alot of Marine armies and they just pop their free spotlights on).

My 2 cents. Don't superglue anything with this advice!

Honestly, the Doomsday Ark just isn't worth it. I would simply switch it out for another Annihilation Barge. The doomsday ark looks really nice, but the Barge gets you abit more value and will save you 95 points, which you could spend on anything else.
