Thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the army? Also I do not wish to have a Farseer on a Jetbike with mantle of the laughing god as I think it is too many points to spend on a HQ in such a small game. I believe the Farseer is capable with the Dire avengers in the wave serpent.

The problem with putting the farseer in the Dire Avengers is he will be unable to use powers most of the game, consider getting him a bike and putting him with the unit of bikes so you can hand out buffs all over the place.

I find your use of a wave serpent in a low point value like this disgusting. I believe the correct term for this is seal clubbing

Also my one issue is that you have so few troops. If your serpent is killed (early) your avengers have become a write off and now the best you can hope for in a game is a draw

Anyway that's my two cents and I hope that the eldar get nerfed by the orbital unos (ugly nerf orbital satellite) next codex.

First of all, if you don't like it, don't read it. Second if his 1 serpent IS killed then he still has a prism left, and the rest of his army.

I would go with 5 man Squads of Dire Avengers. As they are not going to get out of those wave serpents until the last turn. Both wave serpents should have twinlinked scatter lasers and shuriken cannons.

Currently the Farseer isn't as good as he used to be unless he is on a bike so he can buff everyone he can see and I can see you are against the bikeseer. Have you thought of maybe just a generic Autarch he is cheap and can sit with one dire avenger squad within a serpent.

If you drop the Jetbikes and add an Autarch you can field a fire prism with holo fields.

So you would have

Autarch

5 Dire Avengers
Wave Serpent
twin linked scatter lasers
shuriken cannon

5 dire avengers
wave serpent
twin linked scatter lasers
shuriken cannon

fire prisim
holo fields


600 points on the nose and very very killy.
