Here's a cool Necron-y defense line model I found on ebay. The tower is supposed to be a Comms Relay, I made it by rearranging the gun for the Doomsday Ark with scarabs glued on.

Any ideas on a cool conversion for the Icarus Lazconnon or Quad-Gun?

The necrons don't use lascannons or quad guns. Those are there with the intention of a regular defense line that was recently conquered and is being used by its captors. But since you went the extra mile, I'm afraid that you're left with the options of either looking silly, professionally investing yourself into designing the first Necron Quadgun, or just not taking one, which is what I would do if I were you.

Right, but save for the Interceptor and Skyfire rules, the Necron Codex has weapons with similar or equal stat-lines, so...

This is what I'm looking for ideas for. How to make a Necron "equivalent" out of Necron bits. Now that I have the useful bits (defense line and comnms relay), I'm trying to finish off all the options for it just for fun. If these Imperial nomenclatures are important to anyone (they won't be at all in my regular gaming group), I'll just make up a nifty name and "counts as"...like my Interceptor Doom Cannon counts as an Icarus Lazcannon, and my Skyfire Destructor Array counts as a Quadgun...or whatever.

I'll be playing Poorhammer for a while, so if I ever start thinking about forgeworld pylons, it'll also be of my own construction.

You could try something with the heavy gauss cannons from the walker or barge kits to make a necron-esque turret.
