So going away from the usual artillery and Russ spam that leapt out from the codex I have a couple of lists trying to get the most out of Bullgryns. Straight up Bullgryn list:

So wall of T5 3+ fearless with serious CC punch and everything behind is AV with 3+ cover. Using a Hydra as with 3+ cover and low threat level it should do OK AA support to the Tauroxes. Though AA is still a weakness.

All the characters go in the Bullstar. It bounces supported by 5++ from shooting CM tank at front and S4 plates everywhere divination, zealot and war hymns thrown in too! 2 Eternal warriors to soak S10 as well .

Great minds...

Adding Loth gives the unit Gate for more mobility and a 5++ from shooting whilst Objuration mechanicum dovetails well with T5. But it is a full on Deathstar at 1155 points. You also get reroll saves in CC which should enable you to smash up Beastpack.

Only reason I woudnt call it a deathstar was because of the 2 weaknesses i saw, #1 the mobility, and #2 even 30 t5 space marine wounds can be killed.
But you solved #1 pretty well and #2 the deep striking gives the opponent only one or two turns of shooting.
What does yarrick give the unit?

A second EW tank more Ap2 combat and the only remotely CC competent IC in the codex.

Can he issue orders?

So they have mobility 30 T5 marines takes a while to kill remember a guaranteed 5++ and possible 4++. A 2+/3++ character tanking another 4++ tanking too. It's pretty tough.

You forgot the anti-tank. I don't think a couple of meltaguns are going to cut it.

Yeah I'm relying on powers and CC largely for AT at the moment. That is an issue with the Bullstar.

I like the list but as you say ... so little A/AT - you could drop LSS and Wyverns for stormtalons though

Not dropping the Wyverns and Talons are really quite mediocre. Perhaps the lack of AT is making the idea non-viable.

How about this I lose a Bullgryn and Yarrick to get 2 Russes fir AT and they carry some AA not that flyers are a huge problem for the list.
