Hello all, this is a slightly modified version of my list that I've been taking. It's done well so far with slight variation from game to game but I've had some real issues with heavy armored list. (Necron/Space Marine) and so if anyone has ideas for that scenario let me know, I have Hive Guard but I don't know if they are reliable.

Flying Tyrant(warlord); 2x TL BL Devourers, Toxic, Regeneration
Flying Tyrant; 2x TL BL Devourers, Toxic

2x 20 Termagants (10 Devourers in ea)
2x 18 Hormigaunts (Adrenal Glands)
2x 3 Tyranid Warriors A(Barbed Strangler, LW/BS), B(Devourer, BS), C(Devourer, Scything Talons) both squads have Adrenal Glands

2x 1 Venomthropes
2x Zoanthropes

Hive Crone (Cluster Spines)

Tyrannofex(Acid Spray, ESG)

@ 2000; Add Mawlock(toxic)
@ 2250; Add 2 Carnifex (Spine Banks)
@ 2500; Change 2 Carnifex to 3 Dakkafex with Adrenals

So basically what I wanted in this list was to have the ability to split my force if necessary. If my opponents are aggressive towards me(some players have been for some reason... don't know why you'd rush headlong into a swarm) I hold back and let them come and have the jaws close in on whatever comes close. (Space Wolves, in this instance I'm thinking of) tarpitting aggressive units till my Warriors/Tyrants can join in the fight. If however my opponent decides to hang out in his deployment I foot slog it across the board while my Tyrants and Crones do damage either vector striking vehicles and leaving the board or grinding up elites. I haven't used the Crone much but I love the model and so It's featured in this list and I feel like with 2 Flyrants going around the board he might have more survivability (hopefully...probably not. he died last game only getting off one of his tentaclid missiles) The Tyrannofex does a good job at melting infantry and here and there, glancing light vehicles as well. I've included what I add to this list in larger games as well just to speak on them a little. I really like the Mawlock but it doesn't go into the main list initially because last game he deepstruck in, failed to wound two wraiths on both goes and rolled a one for mishap (that's the game) which is funny because the game before that he ate an entire unit of swooping hawks before they could do anything so I guess it came back around lol. The Carnifexes in 2250-2500 are set up just to back up my main force. I could replace their guns with Regen so I could cycle them out while they walk across the board... not sure.

Anyways I know that was a lot of writing but I could really use some ideas on dealing with Armor effectively? No one lets me vector strike them :( lol

Looks "OK", but I think you're over invested in upgrades...drop the Toxin sacks, and the Regen...50 points, Lose Adrenal glands on the Hormies...108? If the math is right...158 points to spend...

1) A second Crone (155) "threat overload" is the basic Tyranid strategy, two Crones is more than twice as good.
2) Add more Gaunts say +14 (70 points), and toss in a second Zoey Brood,(a "solo" brood, get another roll on the table...) that leaves 38 for upgrades (I'd buy Adrenal for the Tyranofex, 23 left...)
3 Add a Dakkafex, two is way better, but the points just aren't there... Even one adds a lot of threat to your force, and it can function as emergency Anti-air

Good luck!

I agree with the previous suggestions. Your flyrants' main job is to fly around and shoot things. They should only land when they need to. The regen and the TS are not going to be used much, and those points could be used better elsewhere.
I would also drop the LW/BS off of the warriors, as they will rarely be able to make to cc because of the T4 4+. They are better kitted to shoot. I would also drop the AG. In general, nids win through bodies. That is their main advantage.
I would also suggest just running bare terms and bare horms, but that is more of a personal preference. I prefer to have 40 terms with fleshborers or spinefists rather than 20 terms with devs.
With all the suggested changes, you could get another flyrant and use the rest of the points to add more little guys.

Necrons - 3000 pts
HH Imperial Militia/Cults - 1000 points Check out my P&M blog! (https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/805464.page)

Thanks for the advice guys,

how's this list in revision?

Tyrant (Wings, TL Devourers)
Tyrant (Wings, TL Devourers)

1 X 3 Warriors
A1(Barbed Strangler, Lashwhip/Bonesword), A2(Devourer, Boneswords), A3(Devourer, Scything Talons) (Adrenals)

2 x 25 Termagants
27x Hormigaunts or 19x Adrenal Hormigaunts

Hive Crone

3 x Carnifex (2 with 2 TL Devourers) (1 with Stranglethorn / Bioplasma)

1 Tyrannofex (Acid Spray, ESG, Adrenal Glands)

I think this will let me bring the models I want while still remaining viable. What do you think? I lose a unit of synapse which might be a real problem.. but I have some real heavy hitters. Perhaps I could split one of the Carnifex off from the brood? I'd love to run a true Nidzilla list complete with an added crone and Tyrannofex or Exocrine...which probably means two of them to get that "Threat Overload." you spoke of! but for now these are the big bugs I have other than a Trygon Prime/Mawlock.
