Elite Tyranid Warrior

Hey guys. I have my 100 point list down and is as follows...

HQ
Flyrant, 2 twin devs

Elite
Zoanthrope

Venomthrope

Troops
20 term
20 term
20 term
3 warriors all with deathspitters

Heavy
Exocrine
Fex, 2 twin devs and adrenals.

I'm looking for advice on how to get to a 1500 list.

I'm thinking of adding another venom, another dakkafex, and possibly a second tyrant?

What do y'all think?

A second Dakkafex is a very good buy, I'd drop the Adrenal, and spend the 15 elsewhere though
A second Dakka'rant is always a good choice as well.
Doubling up both Venos and Zoey broods makes them much more durable, though at 1500, its not as big of a concern....(2x in each...)

How is the Exocrene? I don't have one (I loves me some Tyranofex instead ) I might be tempted to buy one someday....but not real soon...

Taking that many gants I would change your Gant units to 30 men per squad, and taking 10 devourers in each will help you get the most out of them as well. Literally doubles the shots of a 30 man 200 pt unit for 40 points more. Double this again since you will have two squads, and we are talking pretty big numbers for a very small price. Just put them at the back of the unit and they now have a 20W meatshield.

3x Warrior + BrbStrnglr (if you want) will outperform 2 Walking Zoanthropes. Which are the worst unit consistently picked in the dex.

As people have said, more Dakkafex, and Flyrants are good answers at this point, they are both great anti-infantry but importantly can easily be used as great anti-tank which you need. Carnifex is pretty unreliable anti-tank though and only worth it because he points out 2x TL BL Devs for 150 pts on a T6 4W body which is where the value is really at, plus forces tanks to avoid him which can help disposition your opponent. Against good players he probably won't catch in assault anything your opponent doesn't want to throw away to him, and adrenal glands is doing nothing to change this.

Your other option (one that I'd seriously consider) is taking double Crones and probably spend the rest of your points on another Flyrant. Drop some Terms for a Gargoyle screen and your airforce will have 3+ cover saves on deployment. Crones are the most reliable tank poppers in the codex, their board control and aggressiveness is pretty comparable to last dex's 3 Zoeys in a pod (which I loved) except Crone's are 65 pts cheaper. With Haywire + Vektor Strike, or double Haywire + assault for serious armor, nothing is coming out alive. And afterwards you can always template + charge infantry or MC of some sort to hopefully hold them there for your Carnifex or Gargoyles / Warriors / even Termagants

And just to reinforce, if you have to cut something, first thing to go should probably be adrenal glands on the Dakkafex. He has 18" range with 12 shots, so he is rarely running and doesn't need +1S in any situation. Sure it makes his charges better but honestly you can't rely on them anyway.

P.S.A. I won't read your posts if you break it into a million separate quotes and make an eyesore of it.
