Fairly simple question really:

I understand rerolling a 1 to-hit when firing a plasma pistol or plasma gun thanks to TL or Prescience or PE.

HOWEVER: plasma cannons: the book says that you roll a dice first (separate from the hit roll) to see if the weapon gets hot, THEN you roll to hit. I don't see how TL or Prescience helps you there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The rules for gets hot and blasts, mainly. Try rereading them, it's fairly clear ....
