Plan is to have the Trukk Boyz charge/multi assault a foe while the mob makes it up the field and then drowns them with numbers. Should be fun but I want input on this list because I need to know my weaknesses.

One Riptide and any other light AV shooting will be all it takes to blow up that trukk and pieplate nobz. They need the cybork save not the heavy armor. Even if there is no riptide there will likely be ap4 or 3 missilesides or crisis suits with plasma. Unless you expect a troop choice heavy tau, run cybork. You also don't need that many PK in nob unit, cc with anything will likely be in your favor.
I think you may have better results reserving the trukk units, it may be more pressure to have them move on and flat out on turn two or three. Its also likely that the footsloggers moving upfield will force things with interceptor to be far enough back to be out of range of your trukks. Perhaps buying them a chance to be on objectives by turn 4 or turn 5 instead of a crater on turn one.

Since you don't have much fire support for shooting markerlights you need to consider a kff mek for a 2nd HQ to force him to blow the markerlights on your cover save instead of BS increases.

If you want to beat tau take shooty army. U can also try nob bikerz or bw nobz. If i were you i would take sag mek, lootas, maybe looted wagon with boomgun.

Trucks won't work vs tau. Too much s5+ shooting. Battlewagonz on the other hand work great if you have more than 2. I'd say that currently, a tactically correct battlewagon rush counters tau.

As a Tau player and an Ork this list would be countered easily by dropping hammerhead submunitions (PIE PLATESSSS), IonTide Pie Plates, crisis suits with flamers and burst cannons (assault 4, ap4) and infantry firepower. Your Nobz will not live past turn one, thanks to crisis spam, especially at 1500 points
A Tau army could probably beat this *if it was tailored* a more standard/all-around army might have more trouble.
Also using a shooty army is not a great plan, Tau outrange and outgun you, no matter what.
