I heard many times, that ebay is way to get cheap miniatures and bits. But what I see is constructed and painted models without additional parts for more price (it should be less!) than new boxed ones. And I see an arm with demo charge for $20!!!

Yah unfortunately some/most bits are expensive. Usually based on supply and demand. What people are usually talking about when they find "deals" is someone selling an army or a handful of models that they let their 2 year old brother paint and therefore they look bad and need to be fixed up.

Like I bought 2 wave serpents, 20 guardians and a squad of wraith guard on an eBay lot for 80$ but I had to spend 3 hours stripping them and then another 10+ painting them haha.

Also try misspelling things when your searching to find low traffic lots for sale. Things that aren't easy to find.

That article may be helpful. Like with anything in life, if you want a deal you have to be patient, search, and search and search some more, and something will come along.

Ebay has done away with most listing fees, so more sellers can play the waiting game. Maybe you won't pay $20 for a left arm, but someone someday might.
