So I have been off and on collecting orks for the past two years and I just keep thinking how awesome it would be to have a stolen vendetta as a dakka jet. I already have a back story that my Blood axes found an IG airstrip and decided that the IG didn't need it anymore so they (commendeared) the whole base. i was wondering what ideas i could have go into this. Also i am looking for other conversions using other races weapons/ vehicles. I'm planning on using some broadsides to make tau killa khans. So my main question is what modifications should i make/ what cool ideas do you have for other conversions.

I've actually converted an Ironclad Dreadnought from the Space Marines for my Orks, it didnt take a lot of converting or anything I turned it into a Deff Dread, equipped with two Dreadnought close combat weapons and I use the hurricane bolters as two Big Shootas, there are pictures of it in my Gallery, if you wanted to take a look. If you're looting Tau, try to make the Broadsides to look as "Orky" as possible, when I say "Orky" I mean put some bits on them and stuff that doesn't look like it belongs there, remember Orks are crude and have a very low mentality rate.

Thats Deff Dread looks great. As for the Tau Broadsides one of my friends has a bunch of ork bits he doesn't use and i was going to fashion some pointy bits

You can take anything and make it Orky... Thats the best part about Orks! Add spiky teef, random bigshootas, and extra wires from everywhere. Before you know it you have a great lookin Ork conversion. And dont be shy to rivet on some slabs and sheets of plasticard as metal.
