With the new codex Priests and Psykers are now really good and most people will be including them in their armies. Now, I personally don't like duplicate models in my army for characters like that so I am planning on getting a few other non-IG models that will work.

I am planning on using some of the Warhammer Empire Battle Priests for my Vostroyan army. I think they will work great with the armor that Empire Priests are wearing. Still looking for alternative Psykers though.

What models are you planning on using with your IG army?

How about: Pegasus 1/48 California Mission Padres & Indian set.
A little bit static, but a greenstuff hood and they would make perfect psykers. The set comes with 9 priests.

For psykers I used parts from the flagellant sprue, the zombie box, the empire battle wizards box the high elf box, some guitar string tubing and other bitz parts.

For priests, I'm not going with the general GW look. I'm going with a more military look. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_P._Duffy

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

I've had a lot of fun in general converting guard models using various Empire bits, especially the heads. They're perfect for characters and psychers!
