The Eye of Terror

What would be the best kit to take things from to make it look like this and remain at around the same size as an Imperial Knight?

I'm guessing modifying the Lizardman Carnosaur kit to make it stand more upright, and probably bulk up the things with greenstuff but... anything else? Sculpt the spines with greenstuff as well?

1. That's the old Godzilla, the newer one is more like a tyranoid mixed with a raptoR.
2. That thing's head is TINY.

Also, I'm not really going to make it look exactly like it. Just enough of the pose and the like to make it recognizable as the newest big G.
