So my buddy sent our role-playing group a challenge he saw from somebody's blog. I forgot the person's name, but it was a cool idea and not mine. I will try to track down the information to find his blog. Anyway, he had a formula of sorts for creating role-playing settings.

"You play ________, I play __________. We team up to fight __________."

His example was; "You play Conan, I play Gandolf. We team up to fight Dracula."

My group came up with these:

You play Lion-O, I play Thundarr. We team up to fight Skeletor.

You play Flash Gordon, I play Indiana Jones. We team up fight King Kong.

You play Guy Gardner, I play Ben Tenison. We team up to fight a Planeswalker

You play a Jedi, I play Aang the last air bender. We team up to fight Venger.

You play Bumblebee, I play Leonardo. We team up to fight Mumm-ra.

You play Snake-Eyes, I play Chuck Norris. We team up to fight Mr. Smith

You play Dean Winchester, I play Malcolm Reynolds. We team up to fight Aliens.

Not a bad setting generator- I have a few others saved on my computer at home. How about this-

You play The Expendables. I play Steve Irwin. We team up to fight Dinosaurs.

Hmmm....I can see this being a fun way to get a story started.

You play Hellboy, I play Iron Man, we team up and fight zombies!

Also I would pay good good money to watch Indiana Jones and Flash Gorden team up on King Kong.
