Getting ready for an Apocalypse game and it is making me wonder how to handle this.

So it says that Sonic Lances vs AV is S1 + 3d6, but it also mentions that they are Primary Weapons. So do I get to roll 2d6 3 times taking the Highest from each one?

You are never rolling 1 dice to replace with 2 and pick the highest.


As was pointed out in a thread from a month or so ago, Primary weapon does nothing on the revenant weapons and we have no idea why the rule exists for either of them.

There are several other Super Heavies with some Primary Weapon that either are or aren't Str D/Special rules that effect primary weapon depending on the variant that makes Primary weapon on what amounts to those gun mounts make sense; the revenant is the only one where this does not hold true.

The only other theory we can come up with is the fact that primary weapon used to give a 4+ save on weapon destroyed results(when those were possible on super heavies) and so they just left the rule there.
