Spend a few hours putting this together so people can use their Deadzone minis in Warpath.

If like, me, you've gotten way, way, way too much stuff for Deadzone alone, here's something else to do with those minis!

Nexus Psi also goes into great detail about their military organization and tactics, which helped with forming the list.

It's just a stop-gap list to have fun with and get some games in until Mantic releases their own... the mixed-race nature of the units helps with this, since if you don't have 5 Kraaw, you can include 1-2 in units of Yndij instead, and in a similar fashion, Grogans, soraks and drones are bolt-ons for the basic human unit.

Every unit has infiltrate other than the Striders, and the list is based around infantry. The field commander can trigger bombs, Judwan Medic can remove suppression markers, Zees have a rather fun special rule where they gain +1 to hit in melee while contesting an objective. Spotter drones allow a unit to partially ignore cover.

Here's the list in full, let me know what you think! Very much a first draft currently, would be great to get some feedback.

Stats and Weapons:

Rebs Special Rules:

Bomb Trigger: The model counts as armed with a Multiple Rocket Launcher (Fire:2, Ran:72, Indirect Fire, Blast (D6), Piercing (1), Reload!),
which they can use only once per game.
Ceremonial Blades: This weapon confers Crushing Strength (5) to all of the model’s Attacks.
Medic: Once per activation, this model may remove a suppression marker from a single unit within 3".
Scavengers: The unit gains +1 to hit in Melee while within 1" of an objective marker.
Survey Drone: All models in a unit with a spotter drone suffer no negative modifer to hit for firing at a unit in soft cover,
and only a -1 modifier for hard cover. Use a model as a marker to indicate that the unit has this abilty. This marker is moved with the unit, is ignored for the purposes of LoS, moved out of the way in melee, cannot be removed unless the unit is destroyed, in which case the drone marker is removed as well.
Teleport: The unit can move as normal, or can Teleport.
If it does so, it can move through anything but still cannot land on top of Blocking Terrain or within 1” of another unit.
If it Charges using its Teleport move, in the ensuing Melee it does not suffer the -1 to hit penalty for charging a defensive
position or for a disrupted charge.
Vibro-Blade: This weapon confers Crushing Strength (2) to all of the model’s Attacks.

Looks awesome to me!

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.

Nicely done

So I get the Rebel Crew are 5/10/20, but what about the Assault, Zees and Kraww? Are they just 5/10?

^ Yes, except for the Zees which are 10/20 (larger unit makes sense, and is readily available with the dreadball minis).

I've used the standard Team = 5 models etc. naming convention.
