Hi Folks

So after much pondering and reviewing all of the initial feedback & ideas, here is my personal preferance on a 1500pt IG/AM army with a TAC approach. I'd also like to note that, thankfully, I reckon you could go many different routes and build an equally viable list but this is my take. Would appreciate C&C.

Also, please note, points are extremely tight as I always believe that 90% = more units > additional upgrades.

HQ:
Knight Commander Pask (Warlord)
- Punisher
+MM Sponsons
- Executioner
+Plasma Sponsons = 415

2x Primarius Psykers ML = 150

1x Priest = 25

Troops:
Veterans
+3x Plasma
+HF
+Chimera = 180

Infantry Platoon
PCS
+3x Flamer
+1x HF

2x Infantry Squad
+Autocannons

Conscript Squad = 215

Fast Attack:
Vendetta = 130pts + Justice Tax (Heh... )

Heavy Support:
Basilisk = 125

Hydra = 70

2x Wyvern = 130

The way I see this army working is; Everything is reliable or can be made to be reliable. The Psykers + (granted, minimal) orders buff the Bassie, the blob or Russ Squadron.

This army also has some scary damage combos;
- Dual Wyvern
- Pask (naturally)
- PE Executioner
- TL-Basilisk (Does this not inspire/scare anyone else... main reason I ignored it (and all blast weapons) was its unreliability).
- The Fearless Dozen (+8) conscripts

Edit: 20pts to spend. Do I need melta vets or perhaps IS flamers??

I'm not sure if you have considered it, but Pask would not be your warlord in this. Warlord is HQ with highest leadership. So it would go to the CCS as Pask doesn't have one. Meaning if you were counting on that reroll from preferred enemy you would not get it. You still have the psykers to provide Prescience though.

Edit: So I need to cut the CCS if I want to field a Warlord pask as per the BRB? Hmmm.. or does one rely on prescience. No, PE for both vehicles was just too awesome as it made them standalone leathal, as re-rolls are supreme.

So 80pts.. right. Conscripts + priest?
