hi !

I start a new army ! I always like the iron hand (big bad boys with bionic...what else?) but paint a entire army in black is borring for me, So i've decided to make a other chapter, from the badad war ...Sons of medusa, especialy the atropos war clan, because there are the more firepower war clan ( I can take devastator marines and dreadgnout talon in troop ! o yeahhh !)

So i've make a Prototype model and i've make some test on a color scheme generator





Black color , and bright green...yeah maybe the better contrast (who say kawasaki color? :p), I've make the eyes blue (normaly they could be red , because red is the opposite chromatic color, BUT , i use red for very little touch on the armour )

Like always , i search to make the best way to make it faster but with looking good, Is not for a display or contest , but for play with it, so i need Tabletop
That the receipe :

undercoat white
[*]Airbrushing : Dark angel green/ Moot green 50/50
[*]Airbrushing only on the top, like zenithal light with pure moot green
[*]Big shade of Bieltank green , for make the shadow
[*]Airbrushing moot green, only on the torso, shoulder pad, backpack , and feet
[*]Airbrushing moot green+screming skull 50/50 (Never white ! the white is a to strong light color!)

Oh wow! Now this is a thread I can get enthused about!! This looks absolutely stunning! The weathering is perfect on the green and its just the right balance between tabletop and display quality.

The iron thane is simple stunning! cant wait to see it finished. What did you use to make the axe?

Looks like an AdMech badge cut to shape. Very inventive.

I see it now, just with notches taken out of the top and bottom? now that is ingenious!

Nice I dig this scheme alot. Bright/lime green and mars red/orange. Right down my alley. Looking frwd to more.

I've just finish my HQ for my sons of horus , not a lot of time for paint with my new job but i'm really glad to finish this model

My first heavy conversion, with justaerin legs, thallax torso etc...more than 13 piece !
He have a Two hand axe and conversion beamers
