Those were some pretty bad lists for Tau and SW though. Well ok, bad is the wrong wording. Not competitive as it could be is better. For that many points I would expect 3 Riptides, and maybe a second Sky Ray. The SW should have been running RP and drop pod spamming if you wanted to be more competitive. This is just IMO

I think it's fairly clear that no one in the game was building overly competitively.

This was a nice battle report.

I think the Space Wolf player made a major mistake when he doubled-back to attack Lysnader and his crew. It took about a third of the whole army out of the fight when it mattered most. Instead, that unit could have swept through the IF/RG backfield, and the other Space Wolf units could have acfed a speedbumps.

I guess splitting 2 of the Wolf Lords off to go upfield could have worked well too. The other team did not have the firepower to get through those T5 2+ wounds.
