I'm looking at the entry for the Servitors and it says up to 3 of them can exchange their Servitor arms for a Multi-melta for free. This made me pause as looking at the point cost for the servitor this seems like a very very cheap way to get 3 muilt-meltas into ur army. Am I reading it right or missing something?

Absolutely correct. You also get the heavy bolter for free. However, a servitor is a far from ideal platform to be mounting a MM on.

My $0.02, which since 1992 has rounded to nothing. Take with salt.

Mercenaries, Retribution

ah i just noticed mindlock as well so the inquisitor has to be in the unit as well to avoid that.....

You're likely to be right about that. I'm going off the top.

Yeah, single shot, low stats and you have to push your HQ, who is probably your Warlord, up the field with them. 24" range is respectable, but..... I have doubts.

This is getting into more Tactics, but...
Also note that Servitors aren't Relentless/S&P: this means that, since Multimeltas are Heavy, they'll have to snap-shoot when moving. So you have to use your HQ for baby-sitting, AND they can't move.
A better tactic IMO: three Acolytes with Meltas. They're more expensive per model, with a shorter shooting range; but they can move around, your HQ can do other interesting things, and you can put them in a Valkyrie for extreme mobility and some fun backfield explosions.
