Just finished up a daylong Mordheim marathon. Played my Witch Hunters against friends with Orcs and Beastmen warbands. I'd forgotten how awesome Mordheim is. We must've played ten scenarios.

Good to hear, nice one. I'm a massive fan of the old games although I never really played Mordheim all that much. It was released in the year of my 18th nameday* if I remember correctly and funnily enough at that age I was into different things...
I still have a big old printed copy of the rulebook in my games room that we had intended to adapt into Necromunda rules (bloody love Necromunda...) but have never got round to it. We do occasionally bust out WHQ though.
Any crazy deaths or impressive upgrades?
*Edit*
I'm now a Game of Thrones fanboy so no longer call it my birthday..sue me

I thought I was totally out of it after the first match. I won by snatching the treasure chest and hobbling off the table with it. I had to pass three rout tests to do it (including one with my witch hunter's ld), but my Witch Hunter captain was taken out of action and died. In the first mission!
I had to play the entire campaign down one hero. But I rolled the exploration: Returning a Favor, and picked up a free ogre bodyguard who enjoyed wrecking people's day. My priest of sigmar (with healing hands of all things) followed the ogre around healing him up to full wounds every turn. Combined with my four warhound pack, I would snipe enemy henchmen and then have my witch hunters shooting crossbow bolts at the enemy heroes moving in to help. Once my ogre got resilient (-1S against him in combat) there was no stopping him.
The craziest death, was the orc archer named Snotty. My friend thought he was being clever by putting his archers on two rocky outcroppings. But he rolled a 1 for his animosity test, and rolled another 1, so he charges the nearest orc model, which involved him doing a diving charge off a 5" high cliff, failing his initiative tests, and taking 3 S5 hits and getting taken out of action.

We've just started playing Necromunda again, but Mordheim is on our 'to do' list for later on in the year. Next time put a few pics up please . Love the Snotty episode.

I regret never buying the Mordheim Warbands. I use Skaven and made a Warband out of a Gutter Runner box. I really wish I would have bought piles of Mordheim while it was around and cheaper, my old book is an original and its cover has fallen off ages ago from lots of use.

The gutter runner box is the old Mordheim Skaven set. Literally the exact sprues that came in the Mordheim box set. Empire militia has the exact sprues for humans from the same Mordheim box.
*edit- looks like it's now called "Night Runners" and "Empire Free Company" they changed the names because they are silly, but still the same stuff in the boxes

I think the skaven box was always called Night Runners, Gutter Runners are a separate unit
