My client is responsible for most of the conversion here- I did a little bit of sculpting, but mostly I just painted this.

Anyway, here you go. Feral Eldar just might be the best Eldar out there.

I really like the concept and the model, looks fab, the base too.

my only slight critique would be that the dinos 'head' is lost, you really have to look for it as its not a focal point. Might i suggest adding another colour/warpaint/something?

great job!

Really lovely conversion and a fantastic paint job as well. I definitely agree that Exodites are the coolest Eldar around.

Yeah, I was upset when they didn't make minis for them back in the 2nd ed (because they had rules back then).

I'm a firm believer that exodite eldar are ridiculous and cartoony, but this paint job makes them look interesting. The bone-colored armor looks great, but the real winner here is the skin tones on the dino. They remind me of a mini (troll/ogre) you painted for someone's commission for Super dungeon explore.

That is a really well done conversion. The pain scheme is spectacular! The prism cannon is great.

I'll give you the concept of dinosaur riders has that ring to it. I think a lot of things about minis can change simply with style. Even with the bright colors, there's a pretty tight control over the color scheme here, and the result is a less '80s looking mini.

The original rules for Exodites came from books printed in the early '90s when GW was painting all of their minis with as many bright primary colors as they could fit. The orange on their high elves is a good example.

But paint anything like that and it will look cartoony. On the other hand, you can tone down some of those old sculpts too. It is all in execution.
