Hi, I recently took my airbrush apart to clean but when I put it back together again instead of spraying the paint out it just makes the paint in the gravity feed cup bubble. I have taken it apart again several times and put it back together making sure everything is screwed tightly. I know you can create a similar effect buy loosening the needle cap, I have double checked mine to make sure it is tightly sealed. All I can think of is that during cleaning I have lost a rubber seal somewhere. Any suggestions to what may be causing/fixing the problem would be most welcome.
Cheers

I've had a similar problem in the past. In the nozzle, there are 3 holes that air goes through to atomize the paint. Make sure those hole are clear. I've found soaking the nozzle in alcohol to loosen the paint then spraying it with a high pressure air to work the best.

Hi thanks for the reply, my airbrush seems to only have one air hole just below the needle, have checked that it is clear and blowing out air. Not sure if this helps but when I stick my thumb over the gravity feeder the pressure buildup forces the liquid to spray out normally.

Air back in the cup is usually a clogged tip. Soak it in simple green and clean it really well-

Just had that problem myself. If air is backing up into your pot then it isn't leaving the tip. Eigther the tip is clogged and/or the tip gasket is loose or bad.
