Hi, I need help in making a good 600 point Eldar list. The list I have right now is:

HQ:
Farseer with Singing Spear - 105 Points

Troops:
8 Dire Avengers - 104 Points
5 Windrider Jetbikes - 85 Points

Elites:
5 Wraithguard - 160 Points in a Wave Serpent with Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannon and Holo-Fields - 145 Points
Total 599 Points

Any advice is appreciated.

Wraithguard are a bit expensive for such a small game. You may be better off with more bodies on the table. If you like the idea of unloading them on a vehicle, take 5 fire dragons as a cheaper alternative.

Jetbikes should be taken in multiples of 3 (even though it wonks your points a bit) for the purpose of cannons. If they're just there to contest objectives take a min squad of three, MAYBE with a cannon for pot shots. If they're there for damage take 6 with 2 cannons or 9 with 3 cannons.

Farseers are good, but you don't really have much that requires his presence. The wraithguard are the only unit you'd need to have re-rolls on. A spiritseer would be cheaper and would make the wraithguard scoring.

What models do you have at your disposal? Also which opponent(s) will you be facing? Here's another 600 list in the meantime
Spoiler:
Farseer - Runes of Witnessing

5 Fire Dragons - Exarch w/ fusion gun
Wave Serpent - Holos, Scatter Lasers, Cannon

10 Guardians - Scatter laser
10 Guardians - Scatter laser

The farseer could give both groups of guardians re-rolling (guide/prescience), the fire dragon exarch gives you a melta hitting on a 2+, so re-rolls on them isn't a big deal.

Here's what I would try.

HQ: Spirit seer - 70

Troops:
7 Dire Avengers - Wave Serpent, scatter lasers, holo fields - 226

5 Wraithguard - Wave Serpent, scatter lasers, holo fields - 295

That gives you a troop choice that is really tough to get rid of at that point level imho. You also still have quite a bit of mobility and fire power with the two serpents even though they don't have the underslung cannon.

It puts you at 591, 9 points under sadly, but there's not much I would add that could help out for that price.

This is my 600:

HQ:
Autarch

Troops:
5 Dire Avengers /w Wave Serpent Scatter lasers holofields

5 Dire Avengers /w Wave Serpent Scatter lasers holofields

Heavy Support:
Fire Prism

Can't remember if there's enough point off the top of my head for suriken Cannons

kahos - Drop 1 avenger and give both of the serpents cannons for a total of 598 points. the avengers will spend the majority of the game inside the serpent anyways.

deraiderspam - there are not enough remaining points for cannons, however if you took a spinner instead of a prism there would be enough for 1 cannon. Night Spinners are also arguably more effective in smaller point games (personal opinion).

Both of those lists are the general "take as many serpents as you can fit" lists. There is a 80% chance you'll win with either of them. If you'll be playing a highly competitive game or if you just play to win in general I would definitely suggest them (deraiderspam's in particular). However if you will be playing casually or with newer players then I would suggest sticking with 0-1 serpents at this points level, just to keep things more even and fun.

What do you think is better for the list, a Autrach or a Spiritseer.
As they are both the same point cost

Spiritseer.
If you're going to be taking wraithguard, the spiritseer has amazing utility, and can take psychic shriek. There's also a chance he can give the wraithguard a 2+ armour save. Not to mention he makes the unit scoring.

If you're not then he can just sit in a wave serpent all game with the dire avengers. If Your opponent manages to wreck the vehicle then he can provide the squad with some extra defense to try and keep them in the game.

The autarch by himself is next to useless. He needs to buy upgrades, and you'll very rarely ever use his reserves manipulation roll in a 600 point game.

In small games Swooping Hawks can do a lot of damage with their large blast and shooting

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."Leman Russ
