Small mixed wing Dark Angels force.

Not meant for competitive play, but hopefully tough enough to hold its own.

Librarian, Bike, force lance, digital weapons
5x Black Knights Command, Apothecary
2x 5 man tac, missile launcher, combi-plasma
1x 5 Deathwing Knights

The idea of this list is to get up close and personal with the enemy on turn 1. The knights death wing, and the black knights turbo boost across the board for a 3+ cover. The Librarian rides with the black knights, and rolls on Divination. Perfect Timing or Fore Warning are the goal, although failing that Prescience is decent. The Apothecary makes them that much more survivable.

The TAC marines sit back and pop away with their launchers, while holding objectives. The combo-plasma gives them a bit of a punch should anything get close.

Fairly low model count, but more then half of the models are T5, and half of those have FNP. Should be OK.

Thoughts, and advice please.

Force Lance isn't a thing weirdly - Lances are already the runt of the Power Weapon litter, and they got totally left off of the Force weapon options for some reason (reference: BRB p60).

I'm not convinced by the DW Knights, but give them a go (I do like the models). Provided you can get them into combat, they should be versatile enough to take down the one big thing that gets squeezed into a game this size and then wallop anything that's left.

{Edit} Disagree with the below poster about the command squad, they're cheaper than ordinary Black Knights, only losing the hunstmaster and the ability to get more than 5 models.

At 750pts, for what the command squad does; I don't feel it's with it. I'd sooner take a typhoon melta speeder, and get some more bodies on the board.

At 750, termies are hit n miss. They will either do a lot of good because your opponent has nothing to handle terminators, or they will suck because your foe brought things to kill terminators. So you pays your money you takes your chance.

And then we come to your footslog rocket marines. If their to take objectives, that second rocket team won't get their gun ready in time to do much good

I hope you've taken this stuff as food for thought. And you can make some changes
