Hello I'm just wondering: when Orks spawn from fungus, would they start of as younger Orks or become Boyz straight away. I've heard of Ork Yoofs and Old Zogwort born as an infant, but I don't know if this is outdated fluff. Any replies welcome

They call them "Yoofs". They aren't children, exactly, they're just smaller than other Orks because they haven't killed anyone yet.

Orks don't breed sexually, so they don't really have babies.

Stormboyz were most commonly mentioned as having a youth element, they drill regularly to become proper stormboyz and earn their colors so to speak.

There was a piece somewhere too about older Orks going into the wilds to train up young Feral boyz too.

Aye, they're the rebellious teens of Ork society - uniforms, polished boots, drills and formations.

There is some good stuff about Yoofs in Gorkamorka.

They are a lighter green than other orks due to their age, plus they are not as tough. Once they learn to bash together heads good and proper they become boys.

However some Yoofs get very tough very early, and the other orks look proudly as they consume vast amounts of fungus beer and smash cans on their skulls.
