Hey gang. I am trying to throw together a decent list for a tournament I am going to May 10th. Its a 5 round tourney and will be 2 primary mission each game. Here are the rules for list building:

* An army is allowed ONE 'Special Allowance' selected from the list below:

--Any number of Forgeworld 40k Approved units as FOC and points allow for their Primary and/or Allied Detachments (see link below for allowed units and sourcebooks).
--One 40k Dataslate Unit (eg Belakor or Cypher)
--One 40k Dataslate Formation, as long as it is not treated as "Come the Apocalypse" with the Primary or Allied Detachments
--An Inquistion Detachment, as long as it is not treated as "Come the Apocalypse" with the Primary or Allied Detachments
--A Legion of the Damned Detachment, as long as it is not treated as "Come the Apocalypse" with the Primary or Allied Detachments
--An Imperial Knights Detachment, as long as it is not treated as "Come the Apocalypse" with the Primary or Allied Detachments
--Imperial Knight as the Primary Detachment.

* An army's Fortification Slot may be selected from Stronghold Assault. However the following fortification datasheets are NOT allowed: Fortification Networks of any type, Prometheum Relay Pipes, Fortress of Redemption, Aquilla Strong Point.
NOTE: A Void Shield Generator is now allowed since the model has been released.

* Forge World Approved units are NOT allowed unless the player chooses to select them using their one Special Allowance.
* Forge World Army lists are NOT allowed.
* The following Forge World units are NOT allowed under any circumstance: Super Heavy, Gargantuan Creature, Experimental Rules, Units available only within a Forge World army list and Horus Heresy Units of all kinds.
* Lords of War are NOT allowed.
* Apocalypse only units and formations are NOT allowed.
* Players must use the same army list throughout the event.

So I am taking pure eldar. I know there is a chance I could go up against some really hard lists like screamer start or Seerstar so I will just have to try and outplay them over objectives. Here is my List:

It has allot of fire power and 6 troops to snag objectives, a Tough to kill warlord. I could potentially drop the 2 fire prisms for another wraithknight but I would be in a rush to get it painted. This list lacks anti air fire power but with enough concentrated re-rolling shots I think I can take down something.

So what do you guys think? The list comes out to 1748 right now so is there anything I should change?

The Twilight Zone

Runes of warding are not really needed on the farseer. You can deny almost anything on a 4+ as it stands, and with the mantle+bike, you can outright avoid most psychic powers.

I would put an exarch with your swooping hawks instead. BS5 helps make the large blast more accurate, while also giving you a character and 3+ save.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
