Ok so I was browsing around a while ago and I came across a drop pod that was still in above the ground *it used a large flyer base*, but now I can't seem to find it anymore.

I currently have 27 drop pods with 18 normal, 6 dreadnaught, and 3 deathstorms. I want to at least have some normal ones that are in mid air so if anyone knows where to buy them or how i would go about modeling one that would be greatly appriciated!

No not the deathclaw. It was just a standard drop pod that was being dropped. I just can`t find it for the life of me.

Do you mean something resembling a drop pod model on a flying stand/base? I wouldn't have seen it, just trying to clarify that that's what you're looking for.

Yeah it looked like a standard drop pod coming into orbit. As i said to it might have been modeled, it was a while ago that i saw it and I cant seem to find it anymore.

To model one, I would recommend making a circle base the same footprint as the pod with its doors closed. Then mount it at whatever angle you want, whatever height above the board you want on a sturdy rod, and then use cotton, flocking, whatever material floats your boat, to cover the rod and for the basis for your rockets firing.

Paint up, and you're done.

I think i might just have to do that. I was going to try building something with clear resin and painting that but your way seems alot easier.
