I actually saw them when they were in St. Louis a couple years ago when they were touring with some other bands. They weren't that bad, so it was worth the moneys.

Not really; it was $15 for three bands - normal cost for the venue. It's a smaller place called Fubar, and it's where a lot of local and smaller metal/punk bands play.

Carnifex is Latin for Butcher (of people), so its a good name for a Death Metal band. GW cant complain even if it wanted to and it is not unlikely the band were unaware of alternate uses of the name for 28mm gaming when they first.

As Riptides take unsuspecting beach bathers drag them out to sea and drown them, Riptide is another perfectly acceptable hardcore band name. Just remember to pull it off Riptide is all about taking unsuspecting hot bikini babes and turning them into seaweed covered corpses. Filling out your Tau elite slots for meta just isnt metal, but plastic.

I think he was referencing "Riptide" being a band name. Suggesting that the Riptide is undercosted and as such the tickets to see any band calling themselves that should be too.

Ahhh, I gotcha. Haha.

Make the whole band arrive via battle suits and maybe have a riptide behind you with amps instead of nova reactors and burst cannons.
