Subject: 40k Competitive League - Games 1-4 out of 6 --- 1750pts Dark Eldar!
Welcome to another SkaredCast series of Battle Reports! - These are aimed at the more competitive bunch of you , they are recordings of Live streams, so they are long. But they show the Vect dark eldar army (similar to Frankies from FLG) in action against a variety of different opponents. So, if you are looking for tips, or you are looking to have something in the background for painting or something. Here are the first 4 games of the competitive league!
Game 1 vs Eldar and Imperial Guard
Game 2 vs Deamons
Game 3 vs Deamons (once again) about 35 mins in the cam goes off for 4 mins... but it comes back.
Game 4 vs Greyknight Razorback Spam (13 of them!!! ug).
Well. Thanks a lot for watching, of course game 4 has a lot more added in that we have been improving in the casts... nothing like FTN or Team SG. They are the inspiration. I hope to improve with time. Let me know what you think!
Hey Skari, What are all the reasons one takes Vect in his list? I know he seizes on a 4+, and is good in assault, but that doesn't seem like enough to justify his high point cost. Why not the Duke? Or a kitted Archon?

Vect is a beast. The 4+ seize is huge as it allows for counter deployment as well as alpha striking. Hes pricey but at higher point games with DE I find it's moot as you start to run low on useful slots anyway, so may as well run a rape-bat of an HQ. Anything under 1500 and I wouldn't bother with Vect, but at the 1850-1750 level he slots in nicely and gives you a huge counter assault element. Generally your opponent will pay him much respect and concede a large sector of table to him. Those are my ideas on him anyway, hope it helps.

Your batreps are very good if only very long. I always try to watch the whole of them but after an hour or so i close the video. Please try to shorten the videos and keep up the good work, especially with dark eldar.

Razor : thanks for the comment! My regular batreps are not long (usually 15 minuted tops) these are some feeds I have done especially for the local competitive league that we have been running. The other (shorter) batreps in my "regular" style are all on the youtube channel (or on the dakka forum). And yes, Dark Eldar will continue to be my focuss.
Yes, life and family constrain me to one game a week. For now... These. Soon! More of the batreps you have come to appreciate, I am also taking the time to find some additional people in the community with painted armies to add to the visual experience!
